1 is seeking for the glorious of becoming the king of millions people;
1 is seeking for the romance of becoming the protector of the one he loves;

"Star" is a good name for this movie. At the same time, i think it's a brilliant symbolic. The script writer makes the "star" becomes alive by transforming it into a girl. A girl which become the hunt of the 2 guys but with different intention. The story line is lovely because Yvaine(the star) meet Tristan(the one seeking for true love) as stranger. But slowly, their relationship develop as time passed. Most of the time, we heard that it's romantic if a guy can pick a star from sky for the girl he loves. But, I realize that it's even more romantic to protect "the star" in this movie. Treating her with his true heart; no intention of stealing her "shine" and "heart". Without the intention to owned physical immortality but the eternity of love. It is sweet that the movie show us a lovely 'star" who falls in love with a guy who really bring her the joys and happiness throughout the adventure.

Yvaine told Tristan that she would not trade her love towards him with anything. I can feel the warm and sweet of seeing a girl confessed to a guys she really loves. From "a star" who just observed the love of human beings on earth until the moment she tastes it herself, the process is really overwhelming and touching. Tristan realize his mistake of loving Victoria blindly in the past. He found his true love when he is by the side of Yvaine.

I would say that there is no other thing more appropriate to describe Yvaine as "a star". By giving her the character and ability of a star, she "shine" whenever she feels happy together with Tristan. Through this sign we can see how Yvaine care so much about Tristan. Everytime when Yvaine shines, i felt that the effect is even greater than whatever mimic being acted by actress in previous romance movie. It touches my heart and i can feel deeply the love of Yvaine towards Tristan. "Star" also symbolize "eternity". They share the eternity by linking both hearts together. Owning the heart of a star guarantee the life of eternity. But they choose to live freely in the night sky by transforming into "stars" together at the end. How sweet~ Love can be just in any form as long as "they" are together~
